On macOS you can copy a screenshot to the clipboard by holding Ctrl.

For example: Ctrl-Cmd-Shift-4 to screenshot, then Cmd-V to paste it to someone. No more messing around with files.

You can put things into `.gitignore.local` to ignore local files, without needing to commit them.

But first you must run `git config --global set core.excludesfile .gitignore.local`
