Friendly reminder that it’s ok to still be angry with high school math teachers who told you that you’re bad at math.

Yesterday I asked perplexity and ChatGPT the same question. Each gave the opposite answer. And when I told them what each said, they both said the other was right. This is what happened when ppl blindly trust LLMs.
I think I wasn’t clear enough: the shift has been from “can LLMs actually do these very hard tasks that we associated with human intelligence alone” to “of course they can” (while still leaving a lot of big questions still to be answered)

Easy-to-use is the bare minimum for any digital experience. I tried, and failed, to add another item to my cat’s routine autoship food order. So you can imagine my frustration when no button exists called "Add Additional Items."

When #Jaguar revealed their new slogan ”Copy Nothing.” they wanted to express authenticity of their brand.
But there is a company called Nothing, who make minimalistic style phones and accessories. Their response on their social media profile is priceless.

Where’s the Modify Order button? I’m writing up a case study on how I had to cancel my 🐈🥩 order, and make a brand new, just so I could add another item to the autoship order. Stay tuned!

Democratizing design comes with risk, same as has happened with research. Does anyone specialize anymore? Must we be able to do everyone’s jobs to stay afloat?
According to 👨🏻💻 Andy Budd, as design systems and LLMs advance, designers' roles are shifting from hands-on creation to strategic leadership, focusing on curating high quality, vision, and brand alignment.
