I am not sure! The discussion isn't really about the ban itself but juxtaposing criticism by the Social Democrats against the Sweden Democrats for running social media campaigns with anonymous accounts with no links to the party.

In an ironic twist, an ad I could find is a Moderaterna politician attacking the social democrats over this (a political ad that should be banned :D)

This is probably done to get around the Meta advertisement bans for political parties. I expect we will see more of this.
