Less than one. I believe there are 2,200(ish) public schools in Alberta.

You bring up a really interesting point here. Usually when leaders are on the cusp of being ousted, you start to see potential replacements ramp up their own “campaigns” of sorts. The only one I’ve really seen noticed is Jason Kenney. Crickets from everyone in caucus, which might say some things.

Kenney, Fildebrandt, yeah, totally get it. It has traditionally been a training ground for conservatives. I think the fact that CTF gets cited less and less is indicative of how people have tuned out the talking heads of wannabe politicians.

The new AB director, Kris Sims, is on another level though. I have yet to see her say anything about the Turkish Tylenol controversy, tries holding the opposition to account more than government, and talks in sound bites. She also “special guest hosts” for Juno “News.” Take that as you may.

There was a time when I could have good conversations with Scott Hennig when he was AB director. Seems to me he had a big hand in some of the big PC scandals in Alberta. But in my journalism days, I stopped talking to Franco after I realized he only talked in sound bites.

I actually don’t understand why anyone wouldn’t want this. If the UCP believed there was no wrong-doing (or it was all on AHS), why not clear your names?
