And if they spend all their money developing really good models for 2025, will the weights be any good for what's going on in 2027 or 2028? The world is changing pretty quick, so it seems like to keep up more and more money will need to be spent to train new models. There's not a plateau, right?

It seems like everyone is putting their eggs in the basket of this being a major money spinner in the next five years even though no one has any idea of how to make serious money with it. If that doesn't pan out, what will they do?
