It was the typical, "We bought a new TV on Black Friday and didn't need this old thing..."
I realize in a world of wall-sized TVs, 60" isn't that big anymore. Which feels crazy. But it's gorgeous, doesn't need internet to function, and, again, was FREE!
I almost felt bad taking it.

It was the typical, "We bought a new TV on Black Friday and didn't need this old thing..."

Despite working in TV, I'm a luddite when it comes to owning them. Smart TVs are annoying, and 4K doesn't matter when most shows aren't in 4K anyways.
Thankfully I found this 60" plasma on Marketplace. It's from 2008, weighs 1000lbs, and TRON Legacy looked amazing in the dark.
And it was free.

30 years ago, my dad bought a brand new Ford 5610 tractor for Christmas. Ford sold its ag division to Fiat in 1991 with the stipulation that the products be rebranded as "New Holland," but there was a brief transition period where they continued to use Ford.
30 years later, it's still going strong.

It's been interesting to see the growing consensus of those almost embarrassed to admit that they like the Lucid Gravity less than they expected and the Cadillac Escalade IQ more than they expected.

Stuff like peanut clusters and raisin cups are fairly straightforward, but the most complicated is divinity, which is made from egg whites whipped with boiling sugar syrup, then poured onto a pile of cornstarch and gently kneaded with pecans and mariscino cherries.
