I've had the joy of sharing the stage with Jess Jones many times over the past five or so years. He's the kind of writer I am drawn to - the phrasing, the craft, the americana surrealism, drawing from the whole rich tradition of everyone from Townes to Jay, its deeply satisfying songwriting
