Brian Mason gearing up for the stretch run. The Colts rank high in just about every category, but he points out that Houston, Jacksonville and Seattle all have excellent special-teams units.

Ashton Dulin's a big loss for Indianapolis.

Brian Mason calls Dulin "one of the three best" special teamers in the NFL.

And you saw Sunday how he can make an impact offensively, too. www.indystar.com/story/sports...
Why Ashton Dulin's hamstring injury is a big loss for Colts
Ashton Dulin, 'one of the three best special teams players in the NFL,' also plays a small but important role offensively

No further details coming from Colts on Daniel Jones' fibula injury.

“I’m not going to get into specifics, but he’s out there, he’s playing, he’s practicing. He’s good to go.”

Why Colts aren't sharing any more info on QB Daniel Jones' leg injury
Daniel Jones was limited in practice Thursday, a full participant Friday and didn't miss a snap Sunday. 'I'm good enough to play,' Jones said

Shane Steichen on the Texans: "I know they've got a really friggin' good pass rush," goes on to praise Hunter/Anderson, say it's an excellent defense
November 24, 2025 at 7:29 PM
Steichen's philosophy in taking the ball in overtime is it gives the offense two chances at the win, essentially.

In a 10-minute period, if the first team on offense is matched by the second team, that first team has the chance at the win.

Ashton Dulin is 'going to miss some time' with the hamstring injury he suffered yesterday.

The 3rd-and-1 play to Taylor, Colts called inside zone, thinking that going out of the gun would make Chiefs think pass. (Indy had thrown in 3rd-and-short several times earlier).

Chiefs ran a line stunt, Colts didn't handle it well.
November 24, 2025 at 7:24 PM
Steichen says on the play where Noah Gray had the catch and suffered a concussion, the referees told him replay assist confirmed a catch, which is why he didn't challenge.
November 24, 2025 at 7:21 PM
This one was different.

Daniel Jones didn’t take a sack, and he didn’t turn it over.

But it kind of looked like in an effort to avoid those outcomes, he rushed everything as the game wore down, and it led to the same place: Reason for worry. www.indystar.com/story/sports...
Why isn't Colts Daniel Jones the quarterback he was the first 8 games?
Daniel Jones was not sacked on Sunday and didn't turn the ball over, but he completed just 5 of 15 throws down the stretch after starting 14 of 16

Jaguars win.

Colts' lead in the AFC South is down to a game.

The good news is Indianapolis has two games left against both the Jaguars and Texans. The Colts can take matters into their own hands.

Shane Steichen didn't offer a ton on why he didn't run the ball more on those final four drives.

Here's what he might have been thinking www.indystar.com/story/sports...
Why didn't Shane Steichen run more vs. Chiefs? 'It starts with myself'
The Colts ran 12 plays on their final 12 plays, gaining 18 yards in blowing an 11-point fourth-quarter lead. Jonathan Taylor? 3 carries

FINAL: Chiefs 23, Colts 20.

Indianapolis coughs up a 20-9 lead, falls to 8-3
November 23, 2025 at 9:37 PM
Last 4 offensive drives for Colts:

4 three-and-outs
12 plays, 18 yards

3 carries for Jonathan Taylor on those 4 drives. 1 yard on those 3 carries.

Xavier Worthy beats Charvarius Ward on a key third down to get into Indianapolis territory.
November 23, 2025 at 9:27 PM
Don't like that Taylor run out of shotgun on 3rd-and-short there. Not with how many players KC had stacked in the box.
November 23, 2025 at 9:20 PM
Overtime.

Big stop by Germaine Pratt, excellent coverage on back-to-back snaps get the stop to keep it at 20-20.

Colts shouldn't be in this position, but they have a chance to salvage this one.
November 23, 2025 at 9:14 PM
Fewest yards for the Colts offense this season was 317 in a blowout of the Raiders. Fewest first downs of the year was 17 against the Rams.

Indianapolis has 248 yards and just 10 first downs today.
November 23, 2025 at 9:05 PM
Don't like that whole series. Think that was the time to start the drive with a run.

Jones started strong today, but he hasn't been great down the stretch. Way too skittish in the pocket.
November 23, 2025 at 8:53 PM
Huge play by Zaire Franklin to start the drive, then big plays by Stewart and a good call by Anarumo to use Ajiake as a spy on third down.

Colts offense needs to end it here.
November 23, 2025 at 8:49 PM
Bad offensive series. Pittman's got to hang onto the first play of the drive, Daniel Jones has to make a good throw on third down.

Colts defense has to come up big.
November 23, 2025 at 8:43 PM
Chiefs finally break through with a TD, then convert the two-pointer. Face mask on Sauce Gardner, couple of big Mahomes scrambles loom large.

Colts 20, Chiefs 17 with 8:37 left.
November 23, 2025 at 8:38 PM
Charvarius Ward is back.
November 23, 2025 at 8:34 PM
Charvarius Ward got up slow after a blindside block, he's being taken out by trainers
November 23, 2025 at 8:31 PM
Zaire Franklin comes up with the big play, ripping it out of Kareem Hunt's hands to end Kansas City's best drive of the day.
November 23, 2025 at 8:21 PM
One of those plays led to a 48-yard completion.
They've been throwing on short down situations Taylor should easily pick up.
