the lights are too bright and giving you a headache. someone is playing tiktoks out loud at full volume. there's a weird smell. the window is rattling uncontrollably. you really hope that this bus has been cleaned in the last week at least, but the evidence is limited.

Why the heck do the police have a pickup truck too? What are they picking up?

Today's phrase of the day is, "Could you put this away please?"

My main gripe with single lanes on either side is that there are a significant number of cyclists who just can't be bothered to cross over and will just ride the wrong way. Happens nearly every time I use the ones near me.

Remember kids! If you hit someone with your car, that's totally okay, it's their fault. They will become a statistic and you can go on your way

this is not a toucan crossing at all. it's a failure of the council to provide a way to turn right from the cycle lane on the opposite side of the road, so now there are bikes on your ped crossing

okay I found this on street view because I had to understand.

they were probably just trying to turn right. the cycle crossing in the left of the DCC image is going the wrong way, and there's no way to turn right from the other side of the road (for cyclists) so I think they just used the crossing

oh yeah don't get me wrong, it's a lovely walk down there. almost no traffic too, because it's access only.
