I spent $353.00 to buy up every remaining copy of “The Starship and the Canoe” from Amazon to teach to my sophomores. They’ve been loving it and remarking it’s the first book they have enjoyed

I don’t find class size to be the main problem at all, at least within reason. 31 was the cap when I was teaching in Queens, NYC, and things went fine. Tiny classes make me feel like a comedian with no audience. There’s too little energy in the room. Curriculum. Books. Materials. These matter most
