Good luck to anybody using Google to look up organisations' addresses in the age of AI Overviews. The address of the Ministry of Justice is a flooring warehouse that once supplied some carpet tiles to the county court.

Also I shot the entire thing on a mostly too low ISO, because apparently no matter how many decades I've been doing this now, I will never learn to stop and set the camera up before starting shooting.

They say that everybody's welcome at Pride, but then they scheduled Bristol's for a 34°c heatwave. I assume the ambulances at the back were there to sweep up those few goths, rubbermen and furries who still insisted on coming.

Reading through the West Dulwich Petrolheads vs Lambeth judgement, and the "impressive" dossier of evidence that the entire judgement rests on. It's... pathetic. Here they are claiming that only journeys under 2km have the potential to be done by walking by cycling.

I'm not sure who the Daily Mail thinks this crime would be "in character" for, but of all the possible demographics, 53 year old tech company director who lives in a detached 4 bed in a cul-de-sac has to be at the lower end of the surprise spectrum when I'm told who it was perpetrated a heinous

Lazyweb: is there any reason I can't use a "for bottle dynamos" light with a hub dynamo? Is the only difference a lack of off switch? I'm sure I knew the answer to this once. My 12yo Luxos U's standlight function has finally completely expired, but I have a random unused bottle dynamo light lying
