What kind of idiot turns DOWN the guitars on Ticket to Ride? Lennon himself, in the Anthology, says if it were up to him, that record would be nothing but guitars! In Giles Martin's mix you can hardly hear them. How this guy has been allowed to vandalise these records is incomprehensible.
Was looking forward to the Beatles Anthology 25, however I hear Giles Martin is still using AI to remove all the excitement and energy from the Beatles music. It seems he is on a crusade and won't rest until he's made The Beatles sound like Coldplay. Also 20 minutes per episode cut - why?
