10. As much as the counting stats haven't been there, he has been a highly valuable defensive piece for them this season in pressure he provides and how he defends the edge. Based on the film, I think he's played really well every week since their Week 3 win over the Dolphins.

9. That seems like sound logic. He's only been with the Bills for a week. My guess right now is that the Phidarian Mathis roster spot will eventually belong to Morgan Fox, but will depend on DT injuries and how Fox performs if/when he gets elevated. They need another DE so that Sanders can play DT.

8. Knowing that based on what has happened this season this could be quite wrong, I think this could be a potential get-right spot for the Bills run defense. DTs have played better, I like the matchup vs. the OL and the LBs get Shaq Thompson back today.

7. Ko Simpson.

6. I am extremely interested in what Shaq Thompson's role will be this evening. Thompson hasn't played the last three games, and has also been a strength for them when on the field. If there's any movement at LB, he's the one to watch in my opinion.

5. Them being interested in Cooks for the practice squad seems on brand. Don't know if they are for sure interested, but especially if they sign Gabe Davis to the 53-man roster spot, they'll have both a WR spot and a veteran PS spot open.

4. I don't think Coleman will be seeing ST snaps anytime soon. If/when he's back active, it'll likely be an offense only role.

But don't forget about Palmer, he's going to get a bunch of snaps too. I'd expect the snaps to pretty flat just like last week, with may a small uptick for Gabe Davis.

3. The accidental Gronk spike is always a crowd favorite.

2. I don't think so, no. But it's now more of a question than it was last week.

1. This one is easy. Khalil Shakir. Brand new dad this week so he's probably ready to run through a wall tonight.

Bills vs. Texans! A few pregame thoughts on the Bills offense at WR and what this matchup could look like defensively for them.

Hello from Houston!

The Bills will try to make it two in a row on Thursday.

Though after Keon Coleman’s disciplinary benching, it’s fair to wonder what’s next for the 2024 second-round pick.

The Bills passing offense looked the most explosive it's been in 2025 on Sunday.

It wasn't a coincidence that it came with Gabe Davis in the lineup.

10. I think anything is on the table at this point. The is hoping that it doesn't go that way, but the final 8 games of this season and the playoffs will be critical to determining the future of Coleman with the Bills.
November 16, 2025 at 5:03 PM
9. Davis, due to having four-plus years of experience with Josh Allen compared to three days for Hardman.
November 16, 2025 at 5:00 PM
8. Valid Q, though I would doubt that's the case at this point. They are likely hoping this wake-up call will help the situation. I'm still expecting him to be in the lineup at some point, possibly Thursday, and maybe even get some more snaps in the slot now with the presence of Gabe Davis.
November 16, 2025 at 4:57 PM
7. He's working back from a hamstring injury that he dealt with earlier in the season, so with another game on Thursday, I'm guessing they are playing it safe to make sure he's all the way healthy rather than subjecting him to two games in five days.
November 16, 2025 at 4:54 PM
6. Right now, the only certainty of the offseason is that WR will be a huge priority. OL could be as well, though they have a few players they like in-house (Van Pran-Granger, Anderson, Grable) who could fill in. DE & LB still will have some consideration w/ Bosa, Epenesa, Milano & Thompson all FAs
November 16, 2025 at 4:52 PM
5. I'm guessing he'll get a handful of snaps on offense, but his primary function today will be as the kickoff and punt returner. They have lacked explosiveness on both of those units this season.
November 16, 2025 at 4:48 PM
4. Even if it isn't Fox, Mathis becomes the most likely player to come off the 53-man roster if they need a spot. He puts them at 6 healthy DTs as of now. Remember, Gabe Davis still isn't on the 53-man roster, so that might be something they look to change in the not so distant future.
November 16, 2025 at 4:46 PM
3. I'll conservatively say Shakir because it's the first game back in a long time for Davis, but if we're sitting here after the game and Davis was the leader in snaps, I wouldn't be stunned. He's the best option at X receiver that they have active today.
November 16, 2025 at 4:44 PM
2. My guess is because they likely view both Hardman and Moore as slot receivers first, whereas Samuel gives them more reps on the boundary. Shavers is up for special teams, as per usual. I think Moore has been the far better player than Samuel, however.
November 16, 2025 at 4:42 PM
1. I don't know if it'll be a massive output, but I think the clear piece of the game he helps them with is on targets downfield, and on scramble drill reps. Davis was excellent at the latter with Allen in his first Bills stint. It hasn't been great on scramble drills this year.

Bills vs. Buccaneers at 1pm.... here's some pregame thoughts on the potential lineup changes ahead for the Bills today. Some at WR, and potentially another spot to keep an eye on.
