I absolutely LOVE hiking, but I also have a severe fear of heights and even vertigo when facing exposure on bluffs and cliffs. "Exposure therapy" is how I've been dealing with it, which isn't easy in the Midwest. But climbing gyms have helped so much. I even moved on to the BIG walls at the gym 😎

A bit of trail running this morning. Only goal right now is to just keep doing it and just get a little better each time out. Goal accomplished! Shaved another 26 seconds off my average pace 😎

The only real goals I have right now with trail "running" is to just get a little better each time. I did that today, shaved 30 seconds a mile off my Geode time, so, very happy with that 🤷♂️. I do need to change my activity setting on AllTrails next time though 😅
