Warren just came in with an enormous bone in his mouth and dropped it at my feet. This is the second bone, and he’s also brought in a kid’s bath toy. Good boy, dogcat.

One more stray off the streets and neutered, chipped and vaccinated in time for Christmas. This morning, we managed to get Iggy in a carrier (not easy) and took him to the vets for his op. He’ll recuperate in next door’s outdoor office which has been repurposed as a cat cabin. We done a good thing!

I’ve had a really, really crap few days and fancied some comfort food. Not up to my Yorkshire nan’s standards, but by ‘eck, with a bit of caramelised red onion gravy and greens, this rocked.
A large black metal rectangular roasting tin with six black pudding and apple pork sausages in browned risen Yorkshire pudding sprinkled with fresh thyme, aka toad in the hole, ready to be served up with green veg and caramelised red onion gravy.

We’ve taught Warren to fetch. He absolutely loves it and is obsessed with rolled up paper balls - he drops them at out feet now when he wants to play.

Spilled some seed earlier this morning filling up the bird feeder. It’s like a Disney cartoon out there now.
