if your livelihood depends on it then the behavior makes sense but the black box nature of the algorithm means you have a lot of guessing and a lot of cargo culting from less tech-savvy people

on the one hand i do think "less furor" is an obvious good thing but it does make me feel like an insane person when Nintendo's legion of pro bono amateur lawyers turn up to go "well it's a liability to have people sharing Charlie Kirk miis" when other devs would not receive this kind of patience

for someone who does not like you they sure have a lot of faith that you will respond kindly to this request

i mean even if everyone is right about it being bad its more fun to know the specific ways in which thats true
