I've had this vintage Pendleton wool in my stash for years. Our very cold winter nudged me into finally putting the fabric to good use. Vest sewn with self-drafted pattern. It feels like a warm hug.

So here's the project I made with the Cathedral window square. It's a Japanese inspired Shifuku bag. Such bags were used to carry tea wares to formal tea ceremonies. I thought the pocket in front was perfect for the window piece.

For #WorldEmbroideryDay I thought I 'd share this little bird crossbody bag I made with #upcycled fabric scraps. The bird is #handstitched #applique and #embroidery on cotton twill. Lots of inside pockets too. If you'd like to make it yours, it's available in my online shop. See bio for link.
