I also picked a handful of leaves to make tea. I separated the most green leaves from the rest and I’ll make two cups and see if they taste different.

The water is back where it belongs which is also good to see. All the big holes are wet again. Im sure Zoe will be happy about that when I walk her there again

I went for a walk earlier and it was very nice. All the junipers (larch) have dropped their golden needles

My parents are gone away for a little vacation and they asked me how their cats are getting on. I warned them that I have noticed union activity, they might be organizing against vacations. Sophie is even doing card checks

I think I forgot to post this when I found it last spring. It was floating in the bottom of Placentia Bay. It’s a float from the 40s. I have loads of these already but I took this one so no one ran into it and ruined the propeller. It is steel

How did Cohen’s go from having cute ads like this in the print paper to having AI voiced ads on YouTube? I’ asking seriously now, like what has changed locally in advertisements that one of our most notable retailers can’t afford a real persons voice for their ads?

I found a huge worm today! I wear a size 3 1/2 blundstone for reference. I did pick it up because we have a lot of pavement and it was so slimy I had to go scrub it off. It was as thick as my finger when it was having a unhappy trip in my hand to the grass
