More than frustrated at that result and second half but I’m also looking at the pictures of the Go Ahead Eagles fans and remembering when that was me against Bayern last year. Let’s hope the league results are decent after mixing it up tonight… #avfc

Incredible. Cash, the last man, smashes a clearance forward, Digne somehow plucks the ball out of the air (on the foot stamped on twice), gives it to Buendia, who curls into the far corner. The game has been scrappy, but that's incredible. Don't see that goal often. 2-1 #AVFC

More progress today and great to see individual performances improving. How impressive was Bogarde?
Thought Burnley gave us a lot more space than other teams have afforded us and Malen was just the player to get in behind that.

I’ve got absolutely cracking Polish neighbours - they make such an effort to help me as I’ve been learning the language. They send me plenty of songs or reading recommendations.

When I got to Villa Park last night, I said that we needed to do something to shift the feeling and the mood about the place. Emi aside, today’s signings are definitely are the massive boost that didn’t come on the pitch.
