Since I was listening to a @500songspodcast.bsky.social podcast about You’re Gonna Miss Me when I realised it was #12InchTuesday (it’s almost like they come round every week), I thought I’d better post it - even though it’s a 10”.

2 years after the original, remarkably similar instrumentation, but with a disco drum machine, so it loses any swing.
Plus a gender swap in the verse, which is particularly odd as the song makes more sense from a woman’s perspective.
MMc didn’t enjoy the ‘Vomit Comet’.

There’s a venerable old basement gig venue on Oxford Street in London called the 100 Club.
The back of the stage is ‘decorated’ with cut outs of the number 100.
Every time I go there the kerning on these 100s makes my teeth hurt.
