Palamedes

Akihiko Yoshida's characters march from the SNES' cover to join the Sega Saturn in this two-page 1996 ad from Japan for the port of Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen

This Japan-only release added select voice acting, enhanced music, and new scenarios for an improved version of the original.
With a release date of September 20th, it was slated to retail at ¥5,800 At the bottom is a small note for a port of Tactics Ogre also for the Sega Saturn scheduled for November! The ad also notes it will be featured at that year's Tokyo Game Show! This side of the ad introduces the game to readers stating that the Sega Saturn port will faithfully recreate the original, now enhanced with new sub-scenarios, high quality music, sound effects, and new narration. Save points have also been added to improve the playability of the game! The first 10,000 fans will also get a chance to win Tarot Cards based on the game (the game uses a tarot card mechanic to determine what kind of a leader you are!). A pre-order event is also underway for Sega Saturn owners! More details to come!
