If you’ll be at the parade, keep an eye out for us—we’d love to see a few familiar faces along the route!

This is a special moment for us as we continue rebuilding, reconnecting, and showing up for our community in meaningful ways. We’re grateful for the support we’ve received and look forward to celebrating the season with all of you.

As of 11/18/2025 the sign ups are closed due to reaching the 100 bag limit. 
Thus the period closed one day ahead of schedule instead of on 11/21/2025. 

Please understand we have done all we can to expand the program to help as many as possible.

2, The Yreka Food Bank Thanksgiving Bag Sign up period is closing early due to the 100 bag capacity being reached earlier than planned.

And we were proud for their community service and presented the Student Body with a Certificate of Appreciation given to them by one of our Board Members, Kathleen Hendryx who is a retired Teacher from JSMS!

We thank them again so much for the collaboration of the teachers, staff, students and one of our board members who use to teach at JSMS!

Their food drive goes through the 30th of this month
Any food collected at the Scott Valley Clinic location will stay in Scott Valley.

The Rotary club goes above and beyond and more than matches what we make in recycling to help our holiday food bags/boxes.
Check out the Montague Balloon Fair next year. September 18th to 20th, 2026.

We get to keep the recycling from the weekend to put back into our food programs.
