Both the Tories and Labour look a complete mess, the Liberals are nowhere near big enough (though this does benefit them) meaning we really do feel like it’s a perfect storm for extremists like Reform. It’s telling (and scary) that more and more people openly tell they like Reform.

And it won’t work. People will be angry that the government are ‘wasting’ money on unpopular things, whilst backbenchers will view any cuts as an attack on what they believe Labour should be protecting. This is bad economics and bad politics.
