A mi que haya 4x más ancho de banda de memoria me gusta, 25 GB/s era sencillamente ridículo en los tiempos que corren.
Detalle tonto que me hace gracia: la PS2 tiene casi *el doble* de ancho de banda que la Switch

Another rather nice image... Of course, those artifacts shouldn't be there, but for the purposes of taking this picture I'm glad they are :D

Got Phase Modulation synthesis working on my FPGA! I could play a very trippy audio, but instead I'm using the following FFT to mark this milestone.
I have the pieces to also do PSG, playing PCM samples and mixing signals together, probably the 3 pillars of whatever audio HW I put into my project.

Although IMO this is the peak storage format (the physical enclosure). Small enough for modern tastes, but big enough to remain a manipulable object (unlike those fiddly microSD cards we have now).
Actually, the fact it's as wide and a bit larger than a thumb may be the reason why I feel like that

Made a few other ASCII comments. I'm not sure how useful they will really be, but they are sure a joy to make :D

Cannot believe this guy is sitting at 27 followers here, so I feel obliged to spread the word: give @flipacholas.bsky.social a follow. His analysis have been a source of information, inspiration and motivation during my computer architecture journey.

My pet project right now is making the perfect not-so-retro machine out of a Thinkpad W530.

I'm silent here, but I keep working in the shadows.
The most notable addition? PCM audio support. Turns out ΣΔ is super easy to code!
Also: slightly increased performance & Fmax, mandatory M+U mode CSRs implemented, ecall/ebreak/interrupts...
Also progressing through @pikuma.com's 3D course :)

@tsoding.bsky.social looks like you're being presented as evidence to back up a proposal on page 2 of www.open-std.org/jtc1/sc22/wg...
