Most times, I'd agree with that, but it was a case where we were going to settle. There is already an agreement with the plaintiff, we just needed the insured party to pay the deductible, and we were going to do that in front of the judge right about now (9 am). I needed this. I needed this win.

I am not extrapolating one rejection, and one bad day, into the rest of my life, to finally understand that I am fundamentally broken, unlovable, annoying, and ultimately disposable.... That's crazy. Who would do that.
