MANCHESTER, N.H. — The mother of White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt's nephew is currently in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody, after she was arrested for overstaying her visa by 26 years, a source familiar with the matter confirms to WMUR. A source told News 9 that Bruna Caroline Ferreira was taken into custody in Revere, Massachusetts. She is currently being held at the South Louisiana ICE Processing Center, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Sure, the Trump admin is indiscriminately, punitively black-bagging innocents off the streets; but how many WHCA correspondents have been dropped from email chains since January.
The reason many in the press were happy to see Biden’s comms team go is because it routinely ghosted us, dropped us from email chains, ignored requests, acted elitist, spoke down to some and indifferent to others. I have covered every POTUS since Reagan. No admin had a more incompetent comms staff

It launched to an underwhelming 5.1 million viewers and 1.1 in 18-49 (Live+same day) and most recently logged 4.5 million viewers and a 0.9 in 18-49. The show starred Justin Hires and Jon Foo in the respective roles made famous by Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan. Rush Hour was the first of several series based on big Warner Bros. movies that WBTV unspooled during the past two seasons. This season, it already has a Lethal Weapon series picked up by Fox, Training Day at CBS and Frequency at the CW.

Trump subordinates and Russian authorities have expressed common cause with each other, to the united states' detriment for quite awhile now.
Flynn was fired in February 2017 for lying to Vice President Mike Pence about his conversations with Kislyak. He later pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about those conversations, although the Justice Department earlier this month moved to dismiss its case against Flynn. "And I just wanted to tell you that we found that these actions have targeted not only against Russia, but also against the president elect," Kislyak continues, and expresses hope that Moscow and Washington will "be able to start working in more constructive way."

I have never been able to convey her near-total obsession with Bobby properly. What I can say with authority is that it seeped into every corner of her life, affected every relationship she had, and drove every decision she made in late 2023 and all of 2024, including her catch-and-kill operations on his behalf, the campaign strategy memos she wrote him, and the other journalistic transgressions that have still not been disclosed.

was more complicated. Editors at several levels who should have been challenging reporters and pressing for more skepticism were perhaps too intent on rushing scoops into the paper. Accounts of Iraqi defectors were not always weighed against their strong desire to have Saddam Hussein ousted. Articles based on dire claims about Iraq tended to get prominent display, while follow-up articles that called the original ones into question were sometimes buried. In some cases, there was no follow-up at all.

But it is necessary for the US to look at the calculus; Ukraine can never defeat Russia. It's pure numbers. all the US is doing is prolonging the conflict and fighting a proxy war to the last Ukrainian life. For the sake of Ukrainian lives, the US needs to stop sending weapons. Ukraine will never win that war. Ending Western support for Ukraine will end the war. It's that simple.
