Idk I was thrown onto this rock like the rest of y'all, no idea why or what's going on. I'll take my time learning things at my own speed and doing what I enjoy without stressing about extra abstractions like imposter syndrome. Life is too short and fun for that.

Back then it was "Yes, I feel imposter syndrome and that's okay but it's not 'true' so I'll continue doing X anyway."

Now it's "I'm doing X" without second guessing if I'm doing it right, or if I am 'allowed' to do it or comparing against how someone else is doing it.

Instead what actually worked for me was sitting down and exploring why I felt the need to be at a certain level in the first place. Why I couldn't just let myself learn and allow myself the grace to do it at my own pace and basically realizing that it was all on some level arbitrary bullshit.

Advice like "fake it till you make it" seems to do the wrong things. It reinforces the framing that there is something to fake, that you are NOT actually doing what you're supposed to be doing.

You're saying "Yes imposter syndrome is something I feel, AND it's correct so I have to fake things."

Adding in the free blocks section. Personally I think it's starting to feel really good.

Also it's just nice to have history of what's been done and planned out. I can have the last task of the night be "plan out the rest of this work for tomorrow" and then pick it right back up in the morning. again that's github.com/steveyegge/b...

All in all? About two hours of iteration. The best part is knowing that it's a solid foundation to build on. The next step is just to replace the mock data async calls with real API calls.

Client wanted to take advantage of their network and start demoing their vision to some key people so we worked together this morning to define the story they wanted to tell, then I built out six screens for them using the pre-existing components and patterns.

One obvious thing here, you'd want a date field to know _when_ this happened. The schema it generated had this but the UI did not.

And by "got some modals up" I mean I went to grab lunch and let claude generate + wire up some modals. Then came back and cleaned up some mismatched types and unused variables it generated.
