Some of my amaryllis bulbs producing. They spend the summer out in the weed bed, most of the winter in the cellar stairwell, then in the southern exposure windows for spring. 🌱☺️

Living in a basement apartment on Comm Ave in Boston, winter 1982, I crocheted this hat. Bought the yarn at Woolworth's around the corner on Harvard Ave.
Who'd have thought we would both still be useful this many decades later?
