I think a lot of public inertia about climate is because they've lost heart, feel helpless in the face of the rich and powerful. How do we, as a planet, effect deep, systemic change when that means consuming, well, less?

All good, this programme, but seems focused on "how can I make you interested in this?", as though the major problem is to inform and motivate the public. But what about tackling vested interest (eg fossil fuel companies) who have governments in their grip and stand solidly in the way of action?
