We saw an amazing concert by a Ukrainian group at the State Theater in Portland, Maine tonight. Dakha Brakha put on a great show and raised money for their resistance.

I've gotten away with having mint in a large pot. I haven't seen it throwing out runners and it seems to behave itself. We've had that one in the picture for at least 7 years. It's impossible to kill it and it comes in handy whenever we need a sprig of mint.

This knucklehead was our first rescue dog in 1999. A year later we got him a kitty brother and sister.
