Border Patrol does not have unlimited power. Even in immigration enforcement, agents must have reasonable suspicion and follow proper procedures, especially when it comes to children. What happened here was excessive, unnecessary, and a clear violation of this teen’s rights.

A BORDER PATROL agent… drunk, armed, & completely out of control was wandering into the women’s restroom, in Long Beach, Calif. Security told him to leave, he didn’t. Police tried to arrest him, he fought them, injuring 1 policeman. His gun was loaded.

Willy Aceituno said agents broke a window of his pickup outside the Pollo Campero restaurant in Charlotte on Saturday.

Aceituno said he has been a U.S. citizen for about six years.
