This is one good proposal, which would increase the House to 574 Members based on the 2020 census. Another good proposal is the cube root rule, which would set House membership as the cube root of the national population, which would result in 692 Members. thearp.org/blog/the-cub...

There is an even better way: Statewide proportional representation for House seats. Each party gets a share of the state's seats proportional to its share of the vote. Party lists are decided by the party's voters in the statewide primary, with ranked choice voting. And yes, enlarge the House, too.
