To be fair, the purpose of militaries throughout history has been to protect that nation’s wealth or protect the ability to make wealth.
However, since everything else DJT does seems self-serving, it’s hard to tell what’s good policy and how he personally stands to profit.

This (and the domestic national guard deployment) is the equivalent of when I would run my mouth trying to get a bully to take the first swing so I could justify “finishing” the fight. They want a reaction so they can justify further consolidation of power on both the foreign and domestic fronts.

I agree, but even if convicted, this doesn’t rise to the level of sedition so it’s merely a slap on the wrist, if anything at all.

It’s about creating a situation where National Guardsmen will be attacked so they can claim martial law. If they do not get more attacks, they will create them themselves.

I don’t think they’ll block the full release, but I think they’ll reopen a fake investigation into Trump and anyone they want to protect so they can redact anything with his name in it. Remember, anything related to an active investigation must be redacted.

Here’s what’s going to happen. Ask information must be released unless related to an active investigation. They’re reopening the investigation on Trump so none of his details get released. They’ll slow roll it and close the investigation when everyone panics about WWIII
