So the Mazzucchelli Batman Year One Artist's Edition is sold out already but it looks like some other ones have been added since I first looked. The Paul Smith, Mike Zeck, and Michael Golden AEs are all ones I don't remember seeing earlier today.

Holy deep discounts, Batman! DAVID MAZZUCCHELLI'S BATMAN: Year One Artist's Edition is on sale for just $59.95! I already have it but I'm jealous of anyone who gets it (or any of the other Artist's or Gallery Editions) at this price!

Sweet dreams.

"Plump primate" is such a great insult.

C'mon, Liz — you know Spidey's self-conscious about his spandex fitting a little snugger than usual lately.

For some reason I'm okay with the Lizard referring to Spider-Man as "Wall-Crawler" but "Web-Head" coming out of his mouth just seems wrong.

Spidey, smooth as always with the ladies.

Even better, add Dracula to the mix so Spidey has to go up against a vampire, a werewolf, and a Frankenstein monster.

Marvel's comic book adaptation of Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein.

Finally figured out who The Creature from del Toro's Frankenstein reminded me of.

Saw a video in my YouTube recommendations that reminded me it's been a year since the DC Finest line launched. I've purchased ten so far and checked out a bunch more via the library so I'm happy that DC's announced more coming out in 2026.

This panel from Harukaze Mound could make a great Silver Age superhero comic cover.

I love when a manga seamlessly switches between several different art styles all within the space of a couple pages.

Superman and Spider-Man by Steve Rude.

My wife pointed out that so far our weekend watches have both involved bad dads and characters who can't die. Any suggestions on a third film that would complete this themed trilogy?

Watched The Phoenician Scheme and loved it. I think it's Wes Andersons best since The Grand Budapest Hotel. Mia Threapleton was outstanding as Liesl.

My favorite part about this Doom Patrol piece by Steve Rude is how Larry ragdolled on Rita's leg once the negative spirit left his body.
