All modern sports always. What is handling (soccer)? What is a catch (Am. Football)? What is a strike (blind baseball umpires)?

It looks bonkers at first glance, but once you understand the rules it’s easy to follow.

My son and I have a running list of sporting events around the world we’d like to travel to watch, and catching an AFL game is high on that list.

My dad & I first saw it back in the late 90s. ESPN was randomly showing it live. It was probably the grand final… Calvin & Hobbes was big then, & my dad said it looked like they codified Calvinball

It’s aired here regularly, I always watch when I can, far more entertaining than American football

I haven’t had to replace the whole toilet but I’ve probably spent $250 on toilet parts in 15 years of home ownership. $100 of that is on a bidet seat attachment, but the rest is the first seat I replaced, several flappers, tank bolts, and other various parts.
