Stuffed beancurd using mixture of mashed beans, shitake mushrooms, dried shrimp and LSA sprinkled on top. Being inventive as meat is just too expensive.

A pack of fresh pasta was free with a packet of meatballs (l'Authentic) sure helps with the massive increases in the cost of living. As far as specialist food needs go, I have been using protein other than meat, which has skyrocketed since end of 2023.

Taking time to smell the roses and visiting an alpaca farm, Pukekohe, Auckland with friends. Alpacas are the most gentle of animals and surprisingly as I found out, great animals when it comes to security issues... they confront intruders, they don't run away

Registered nurses 2% increase June 2025 with further 1% in June 2026. Then $325 lump sum payment in each of the two years. With the June offer new graduate nurse on Step 1 ($75,773) would get 2% from 2 June - an extra $1515 pa. The Coalition gives themselves a 10% increase. Supporting nurses!!

A story on the women who forged the legislation for equal pay because they were paid 15% LESS. Currently the gender pay gap NZ is 8.2%, the public service 6.1%. The Coalition has had a payrise of 10% and has the gall to offer a stinking 1% over 3 years for the teachers which is obscene.
