I gave mine a dependency graph. They didn’t like it, but I did.

Joke's on them. I have a very old BMW i3 with a petrol range extender. Since that's a hybrid (even with an empty tank) it'll get charged half the per mile cost of my actual BEV.

Maximum facepalm right here.

I can't believe how dismal these self-identifying grown ups are.

Raise the goddamn tax straightforwardly on those with the broadest shoulders (including mine) you cowards!

If only I had two votes to withhold, this would be the cause of the other.

Those gods don’t pay attention to the Ashes it would seem.

There is little contrition in your tone, Jon. Don't make me come down there and use my sternest voice.

(actually I am popping down there, will be in town from the weekend)

Don’t kick a man when he’s down, Jon.

That, but in a Scottish accent.

But what if golf balls were designed to be the size of large hailstones?

JFC.

Hotel costs are easing for those of you fortunate enough. For the rest of you that need to eat food, not so much.

I understand that moaning on bluesky about my expensive home batteries is a privileged position. But it just goes to show that uncontextualised AI doesn't work. The system needs my input to serve me well. Averages and regressions are meaningless in the moment.

It's not like this is a hard fix: a little "max user charge" slider that tops out at say 80%.

They *already have this* for minimum state of charge.

The hubris of the Tesla folks is that the update is *good* for me since it will preserve my batteries for longer. This might be true but If I'm using the grid at busy times that's not worth it.

I am very much in favour of some redistribution of wealth, but whenever I see a posh house with solar panels/heat pump I'm quite happy that they're making my air cleaner too.

This is quite misguided (again) from the grown ups.

This is the way.
