Wondered why so many oncomers were flashing their lights then I realised that the driver of this big Volvo SUV had his on full beam! Public service performed.

Lesson to me not to shirk putting studded tyres on the bike, when the car's iced up. No lasting damage.

Looking forward to this getting finished. There are two stretches like this where the junctions haven't been completed yet. Some locals still insist cyclists should be using them!

Idiot driver reported. This was on a bend as well. I'd have paid the price if he'd lost control in the water, or encountered an oncoming vehicle.

If I'd seen this one a few seconds later, the vehicle would've been stationary, which makes phone use alright according some.
Of course, some drivers are on their phones as often as possible whether stationary or not.

Giving me the w ⚓ sign, because I stopped your incompetent driver from overtaking me into the path of two oncoming 🚔 cars with lights and sirens wasn't a fair reaction from the passenger here!

The trouble with stationary drivers using phones is when they move off. This one missed the traffic setting off in front of her and ended up jumping the red light quite late.

Road closure near me... Very heavy traffic on the country lanes. Explained it to a driver. Hope it was helpful.

Sometimes feels like one in four drivers can't be bothered to turn the steering wheel a few more inches to avoid getting reported for a close pass, let alone passing another human being in a safe manner.
Other times, everyone gets it right and all is right on the roads!
