Used to be better at FPL than I am now...
8 PL sides out of the FA Cup so far, but all 8 in different fixtures in GW34. If Liverpool beat Brighton, that would be 9. Still nothing confirmed on in that week yet. Making Arsenal v Newcastle the only fixture with both sides still in (if Liverpool win).

Am I the only person who actually quite likes the advent of defcon? People used to go on and on about bringing DMs and the like into the game, and this has done that. There's now a real choice between having the likes of Anderson ticking over, or going for someone more explosive. I like that.

Munoz in for Dorgu as planned (almost did it post-deadline on Friday to avoid the Dorgu drop, but decided it wasn't really sensible!) Rolling the other 3 FTs.
Decided to TC. Was fairly 50/50, but I'd rather go with what's in front of me than wait on something better that might or might not happen.

From a purely FPL perspective it'd be interesting if Chelsea get through tonight. (In non-FPL terms I prefer Arsenal, but don't care that much.)

I think I am indeed sticking, despite Dorgu -> Senesi/Cash being very tempting. Will probably lose out this week, but next week's info could be critical. 4FT will be useful if Chelsea qualify.

Pondered for a while on what move (If any) to make, and ended up on the rather dull Cunha -> Enzo move. I was very tempted by Rogers, but that would leave me 0.1 short for a direct Foden -> Bruno swap in two weeks (though tbh I'll likely make other moves by then too). Saved the other 2FTs.

Is it just me, or do transfer targets all seem a little underwhelming this week? Want to lose Cunha, but there's nobody who really stands out. Maybe best just to save until 24, but really don't like Cunha's next two.

Two 9.5 mill ranks in a row have seen me tumbling, and I"m not so sure about my team this week either. Used 2 of my remaining 3 frees for O'Reilly -> Gabriel and Minteh -> Anderson.

Free hit gained me just 5 points over my original team. Oh well, at least it wasn't negative. First red arrow of the season though - one more point would have seen me get a green. Irritating.

Late decision to free hit. Only changed 4 starters, but the team felt a bit of a mess this week, and I feel there are possible gains. (Definitely not brave enough to go Salah over Haaland or anything like that!)

Been a bit quiet lately due to personal stuff going on, so not been spending much time thinking about FPL.
This week I'm gonna TC Haaland, and save the FH for a rainy day.
