Oh I know that, I'm just riffing on the fact that YouTube now AI enhances every short whether the creator wants them to or not, and it makes faces look horrifyingly smooth and plastic.

That's just the standard YouTube "AI enhancement" of shorts at work.

Some of Dylan's best and worst recipes are from things like this!

Yeah, I know somebody who must have heard this advice, and makes that post every day, but it goes nowhere because there's still no personality behind the questions or other kinds of posts to learn more about them.

Our streamer Discord has a rule and bot mechanism that you can't post to the going live channel until you've scored a bit of interaction XP. It's very minimal, maybe make a dozen posts about other subjects. But VERY few who join ever bother.

A "community" with only ad posts is essentially dead.

You're not doing this necessarily for direct reciprocal benefit, it's to become part of the *community* and show everybody you're out there and bringing constructive energy to the field.

This makes a huge difference, especially if you're starting from zero.

This is the key to networking I try to instill in other streamers, but it works in other fields, too.

Budget about 30% of your "Creative" time to being a *active* fan of others.

Interact with your peers and be the kind of positive presence in their circles you want to see in your own.

A tax program shouldn't have to be anything more than a long and precise series of if-then statements.

There was a magic trick (pre-picking the UK's lottery numbers) that depended on faking the tiny movements of a handheld camera. As a person in TV who's done handheld, I spotted the trick immediately because they only mimicked the translation (left-right / up-down) but forgot about roll.

But point remains, since it's just a slight change of the ratio, and not one or the other, to make a dietary impact, cutting sugars of all kinds is going to be far more effective than worrying about the difference between these 2 sweeteners.

Now if you *prefer* one or the other, that's different.

Because I wanted to be sure, I checked, and I mistook sucrose for glucose. Roughly: Sucrose is 50/50 fructose and glucose bound together. HFCS has some free fructose on top of that, and is the sweeter of the 2 because of that.
November 16, 2025 at 6:25 PM
The stat I saw was that high-fructose corn syrup was 60% fructose to 40% sucrose, while cane and beat sugar was 50% / 50%. So yeah, not really a lot of difference in that respect.

Are you trying to tell me that real gamers out in the world never discuss a character's "woke chin"?

LLMs don't make <X>, they make <X>-shaped objects.

Ugh, so sorry that happened to you. Trolls suck.
