I'm just shocked that they had more than one to be honest XD. I think in total four Fireflashes appear (First episode has one, then the follow-up later on has two that crash in the ocean and a fourth that is saved at the last minute)

I can't imagine a nuclear powered hyperjet is cheap...

The film is, unfortunately, very bad XD. It loses basically all of the charm

The only good thing to come out of it was the absolute banger that was "Thunderbirds are Go" by Busted XD

I think I’m just kinda tired of laughing at this stuff when it’s not like many parts of “our side” are any less ignorant or capable of doing the right thing when the opportunity present itself

It's a 60's retrofuturistic puppet show about an organisation rescuing people. Something about it being all models that have huge explosions is so cool XD

For a kids show it's quite adult in places by today's standards. People die on screen for example, and the peril feels very very real

Funny thing is, it *isn't* a nuclear device. But the Fireflash is a *nuclear powered hyperjet*

So while the device itself is just a standard explosive, that's all it needs to be to create a serious problem

Especially when the radiation shielding for the passengers isn't unlimited...

(Side note, I will always find it hilarious that the Hood took the time to make a bronze plaque to go on the side of his device. He just had to let everyone know exactly what it was, even if they never saw it)
