Incredibly bad take, shame on you for even hinting at the waistcoated one. There are only two outcomes to it, he does badly and gets binned (then why get him?), or does well enough that we are stuck with him.

You are completely right, and unfortunately the fan base has lost complete faith it will be improved upon. It was strange to see the dejected atmosphere after the game yesterday, not anger, just acceptance that of course we were going to get beaten if we play kids every 3 days.

I do think there has been an insane amount of bad luck, just need it to turn

Thought this was a really good piece. Well done. I have to be honest and say I was more hopeful of the squad building at the start of the season, though have clearly been proved wrong.

I think it is the lack of support in the transfer market more than anything. A statement winger on big wages would do the world of good

A couple of weeks late, but it came true, #COYS

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one to go down the Hatfields v The McCoys rabbit hole looking for spurs transfer news

I would have thought there would be more concrete rumours on players coming in, though it appears to all be behind closed doors. Do you think we will have any in for Liverpool?

I also worry that it was such a blow to his confidence, he can’t ever kick a ball again. I was behind him in the stadium and was within the aura of embarrassment and I may have to hang up my boots. He looked a broken man.

I think this is right, similar to how a few mistakes by Vicario in coming for corners led to 6 months of constant targeting by opposition. Though also it may play into our hands if it commits more op players higher and we can beat the press.
