We should never treat them as anything else that potentially dangerous. They have really good players, not sure they have a team yet, which has been their problem lately.
Their defence can be really shaky at times, and their home form has not been great this season.

The project was not bad, the constitution was a great project, people did not voted for or against it. They used it as a referendum on local politics at that time.
It buried the constitution, the hopes of a strong unified Europe with a defined leadership.

The project was not bad, the constitution was a great project, people did not voted for or against it. They used it as a referendum on local politics at that time.

Because when we could have a had a European Constitution, a more formal leadership and defence, countries organised referendum on it and it was poorly done.

Yeah it's a non-issue. If you watch the game and the replay, you can see the keeper has a perfect view on the ball, so much that you can see his eyes locked on the ball when Eze strikes.

All that while the rule is pretty clear about the elbow in the face: it's a foul. It's one of the least interpretable rule, elbow + face = foul.
The only thing that vary is the sanction: foul, yellow or straight red.
There is just 0 reason to contest a simple foul for an elbow in the face.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I spent 5 minutes explaining to my wife why he was the worst ref on the planet, with some stupid decisions in that very game.

I'm not one to laugh or rejoice at any club misery (except Spu*s of course). And I really think putting everything on grief is really borderline disrespectful, it would be using it to hide all the problems that are not related to it and there are many.
They're just nowhere now.

They spent a lot in their attack and it's just not working, the new defender is struggling ... none of the new players are working. There's no cohesion in that group, the tactics are not working, the manager keeps on throwing excuses without self-criticism.

I don't discount it can have an influence, and yes the 5 first games were not really an indicator as they were not playing really well.
But I think it would be a bit easy to hide everything behind that, and borderline disrespectful to use it as an excuse for all the problems they have.
