Been having a grand time with new Digimon. I haven't engaged with anything in the franchise made after 2002, Unless you count borrowing a friend's copy of Dusk on the NDS.
It's a great "returning point", lots of nostalgia and new buddies.

The Yard D&D feels like the perfect stepping stone to get me from "I understand what D&D is, it'd be cool to learn more someday" to "I am confidant enough to try playing". I watch a lot of psuedo-ttrpg content like Drawfee's Drawtectives, but CR and D20 felt inaccessible to me. It's good so far. 👍

Caught up on what's dropped so far of Season 2 of Twisted Metal, and pleased to report it's just as (so far more) wacky, fun, exciting, and funny as the first. Crazy that THIS was one of the video game adaptations streaming "got right".
Glad more episodes got ordered this season, too.

The worst part about PC upgrades, for me, is wanting to build a new PC of the older but still working parts, instead of just leaving them "homeless". It's not e-waste if it's a backup!

Saw Superman last night and can't get over something; I kept SMILING during the movie. It felt GOOD to watch!
It's worth your time, go see it.
Humour wasn't cringe and the dog wasn't "just there to sell toys". No "hey audience, look st this and clap!" moment that I could point out.

I saw Doomsday (2008), about 10 years ago and I've been saying "it has everything 14 year-old me wants in a movie" as the only selling point. Rad.

Full circle, the term originates from a Green Lantern story where Kyle Raynor, who in part was inspired by Spider-Man, discovers his "fridged" girlfriend. This is used as his "call to action" as she was more into him helping people than he was.
