Seems to me that @Apple releasing #Rosetta as #opensource would be major goodness.

Unbeknownst to me, a few weeks ago it looks like the GitHub PushEvent JSON format changed; in particular, it removed the `commits` payload.

Really looking forward to the 2025 @allthingsopen.bsky.social conference this year. So incredible to see just how much #AllThingsOpen it has grown and how it has taken its rightful place as _the_ Open Source Event focused on Community and Collaboration.

Perfect? Far from it. But I never claim otherwise. I admit my failings and attempt to do better. Truth deserves no less.

How Open Source Lost Its Way with AI

You know, this has been my experience as well... For the most part, AI just "gets in the way" and tries _way_ too hard.

I've had a long, long career. Some might even affix the adjective "illustrious" to it (not me though). But there's one thing I still take pride and joy from.
In all that time, I've never had to code in Java.

I remain convinced that Advertising companies have 3 go-to plans for any new TV commercials:
1. Talking babies
2. Old people doing cool stuff/ being gangsta
3. People dancing
All ads are variations on those themes.

So I wanted to standardize most of my work software tooling to a single language and the question was should I port my Go to Python, or my Python to Go?
I've decided on Python being primary... it is just too useful, too universal, and too _fun_ to not be number 1.
