Over here in the UK, the national design guidance for cycling infra recommends humps with a sinusoidal profile. More comfortable to bicycle over.

I wonder if they're less effective at reducing speed.

Project bathtub pond is slowly coming along.

Submerged shelf from an old hexagonal slab and bricks. Garden stones and £5 bag of rinsed gravel for substrate and a pebble beach. Donated/transplanted water buttercup, iris and duckweed.

Hoping it's homely enough for an amphibian or two. 🐸🐸

Spent a day-off wheeling it round on a trolley, then digging a hole.

It's a work in progress, and might totally fail...but I hope to add a photo of a frog presently. 🐸
