So, Tampa is basically followinf the Caps pattern. After three years of peak performance (they actually had 4 considerin the 2019 historic season) they're now fallen to gradually worsening regular season results and a bunch of first round exists.

The Caps are trending up, which is good. Other xG models have them as being a constant positive since the deadline.
Now all they need is a manageable 1st round opponent that should pose enough of a challenge to wake the team up.
