By my reckoning, there have been four 'American Revolutions' or has 'American history' since 1775 just been one long (self-absorbed) phenomenon? 😁

I guess I meant the war (though the war and the revolution are often conflated). I suppose I wanted them to end in 1784ish and treat the period from the Seven Years' War to the restoration of peace in 1783/1784 without feeling compelled to get to 1787. Narratively, it felt forced to me.
