Finally got a chance to watch A Real Pain this week. Lovely little film with great acting and visuals. Won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but a nice opportunity to reflect on how humans deal with stuff (or perhaps how we don’t).

Really disappointed with recent BBC Panorama doc exploring e-bikes. Biased to show issues with illegal bikes, and will further contribute to negative views of all cyclists.
So much for the beeb being committed to a balanced view.

Before choosing bottled water over tap water, remember it takes more than 10X the water that a bottle of water holds to make the plastic bottle and transport the water. And that’s before considering the fuel and GHGs, the 1000 year bottle life, and the RIDICULOUS amount of $ we’re paying for water.

Anyone who questions why Cardiff’s Western avenue has a 20mph zone should try using the pavement on a day like today.

I wrote this about 5 years ago and am pleased to say that I’m in a much better place. Has my job changed- yes, it’s bigger and harder. Have I changed- absolutely. Showing vulnerability built focus and resilience. Success is just the tip of the iceberg.
