It looks like we had very different experiences. I know every community has its bad actors, but the anime side of Twitter was the worst cesspool of racism, transphobia, and misogyny I've ever seen, along wth the bad faith takes. When I left that was one of the things I was glad to finally be rid of.

I only just started getting into the World of Darkness, but this sounds a lot more relatable to me than VtM and WtA.

I don't know what's the right thing to say in this situation. I'm not an artist, so I wouldn't know about the struggles they endure. But as someone who's been working on maintaining my temper in difficult scenarios, I guess the only thing I can say is take a deep breath and it's okay to be angry.
